Thanks... was busy today, so I'm now a larger owner of NVDA than I was before... -g. In the end, my purchase cost will reflect a moderate discount. Such is life.

I think rolling the position is nice, but may potentially snowball losses - if the underlying keeps moving against you. I suppose it should work well if one has rules that help to stay, more or less, on the right side of the trend. I'll have to think about it more.

NVDA, FWIW, has some pretty pronounced seasonality - part of the reason for the trade:
