I received an email from Syquest recently. They said they will not make any SCSI SparQs. Just PP and EIDI. Their strategy is to make Mac users pay more and buy the larger and faster SyJet, since Mac users tend to be more power users than PC buyers.

I haven't heard anything regarding Sega whatsoever. I got a Nintendo 64 for Christmas from my girlfriend, and it uses cartidges. The Sony Playstation uses CD-Roms. I heard that Nintendo may introduce a disc drive add-on device to the N64 next year. I don't know who the manufacturer is, or what exact purpose the drive serves. SyQuest might look into this situation since Nintendo may sell a million of these drives.
