Megan, as usual, cuts to the heart of the matter. Immigration was never a big issue with me. Ever. But Trump was successful in making it a bigger issue for me. Not that I believed the political bullshit, but he did place an emphasis on the danger of that border being open, which I already believed was a serious threat. I have always thought a wall was the best solution and I believed he could make it happen. Even if Hillary had said, "I'm going to build the wall" as her number one campaign pledge I would have known that as a politician there is no way she could tackle and succeed with that job.
