The Big Bang fails as a theory of origin. First the Big Bang has to Bang something that existed, usually called singularity. Second if something existed, it existed prior to the Big Bang and the question of "how so" and was something going on be for singularity cannot be answered using Big Bang as a theory of origin. There are more problems with using it as a theory of origin but those are good enough to check it off the list.
