As you know many climate scientist believe we have crossed the tipping point and we can no longer avoid the coming apocalypse of Global Warming. The whole concept of AGW seems to be losing ground as far as influence on policy is concerned. Efforts like warnings on gas pumps will have no effect. We must drive our cars etc. The American people grow more skeptical of the whole theory daily.
Based on the current CO2 production and the current increase rate in temperatures, how soon should we begin to move cities along the east coast inland?
Has there been a study determining which cities along the east cost will be under ocean first? I suppose these cities should begin to move inland first since they are in more imminent danger.
I am thinking that the loss of Florida to the rising ocean will not be such a great loss since being that near the equator the heat will be intolerable.

Do you think there have been negotiations and plans for the migration of the American people up into Canada to escape the heat? I suppose wars will be fought to keep Latinos south of the American people as we move North.
Perhaps our border wall should be movable in some way. We could move it North as we migrate up into Canada.
So if there is now nothing that can be done to avoid the Global Warming Apocalypse what sort of timetable can we expect? I guess the big question is how long will the earth continue to be habitable for humans beings? I am sure that answer would only be a vague guess.
I guess it would be wise to go ahead and move to Canada to beat the rush and get established before the huge influx of Americans who will be fleeing the Apocalyptic Climate Change of the South.
There are a lot of things to think about. For example new crops with shorter growing periods from seed to harvest will need to be developed. Canada will be warmer and the growing season lengthened somewhat but amount of sunlight will be the issue. So many things to consider. So many things will change.
What should probably happen right away is to ramp up our exploration of space. That illusive habitable planet will need to be found before the Global Warming Apocalypse is complete if humanity is to survive at all.
