Helix to be purchased by Brooks.

investor.brooks.com

A best of breed doing a little merger and acquisition before this sector gets hot.

I've been anxiously awaiting some M&A in this sector. With the SOX only 13.00 plus change points away from a breakout - this bodes well.

The bottomline to this sector is less stock supply is out there and its turn into favor has been long overdue.

M&A can often signal a true bottom coming in - I still remember when KLA bought Tencor.

It was a perfect buy and built a powerhouse.

With brooks having the top of line software and mechanical capabilities, the purchase of Cyrogenic pump knowledge (Helix) makes great strategic sense.

Now - but at what premium - just heard it on CNBC.

I hope this treats all owners here with a good multiple.

I certainly wouldn't feel bad to know I have Brooks in my account vs Helx.

Congrats to the long term holders!

Bob

Interesting times - Agilent is about to pickup several billion from KKR on its semiconductor sale - wonder where they go with the cash?

I have liked Brks ever since and for the record Brks sold a division of Helix for 250 million in 2015? - which funded the biosource acquisition. It was not immediately acretive - it took 3 quarters.

After a 12 year wait - I had the patience to see what these brilliant investors came up with.

For the record Brks is a two bagger for me now - I'm very happy being patient and living off the dividends that were NOT paid back then.

Brks is a multi bagger !!! Even if bought now !!!

Blue sky break out @ 91.875!

It would not surprise me!!!

I love history and we truly can say "We were there!!"

If you are short - get long!

If you are Long GET MORE !!!

Bob
