I'm seeing some hand wringing from folks who seem to think nothing will ever come of the Russia scandal because the Republicans are spineless crooks. However they are overlooking some other factors which are going to make a big difference: There are a number of Democrats who have access to information, and lame as it is sometimes, we still have a free media and an independent court system. There are other ways to get to the heart of the matter.. it doesn't have to be exclusively through the GOP controlled congress, or even the FBI. This is going to be very interesting to watch...
