(Time Price Opportunity ) Tails,(a chart formation) can be seen in barcharts as long bars and closing at the other end, the extreme show reversals. Only one day to react at a certain price. Very low opportunity to react at a particular price. Ex:http://www.techstocks.com/investor/t-4/Chart-sunw-100-d Not much opportunity to buy below 47 (low TPO) support ex:http://www.techstocks.com/investor/t-4/Chart-atml-100-d see the low TPO below 24 and how this area supports the price. Tops are created the same. Areas of low TPO. The term TPO comes from Steidlmayer and the research he did on the auction markets. He wrote three major books on the subject.
