BB, I DO believe VIX is more complex than we all want it to be. I tried some of the simplest approaches at first to see if average or MACD or, or, or would work... NADA. Not until I went through my complete arsenal of trading indicators did I uncover more sophisticated formuae which truly provide us with leading signals based on the VIX. Remember, we are still on a buy... if we went to a partial sell, we would want to sell... and if we got a partial buy after the partial sell, we would have the decision of whether the costs of the trades would be worth the remaining upside that may be left. Truly, VIX is a wonderful tool which gets you back to the money management controls which we SHOULD be focusing upon but haven't up until now because of not being able to call the markets. Okay?
