I ended up ordering one for curiosity and fun with a potential user in mind in several months. It's been over 12 years since building a tower from scratch and maybe 4-5 years since helping a friend build one, as well as some off lease workstations put to various uses like HTPC, video editing, and gaming. I'm not much into PC gaming myself but have a relative who is a private pilot and might end up using this as a multi-monitor pc flight simulator to upgrade from his current system. He mentioned about buying a new pc several weeks ago but none of the "deals" he mentioned sounded all that great to me and he wasn't interested in building a box from scratch. I've seen the inside of the case in person before and it seems very well designed. My back of the envelope calculation was I could buy a combination of new and used parts and come out near $350 but I'd have to cobble it all together and install OS. This HP came with win10 installed and off lease with 90 day warranty. Sold! ;-)

This will be my first desktop pc in years that I'll actually use, so I'm looking forward to it. Been using workstation laptops for years due to travel and convenience. For the desktop I already have a spare 1TB ssd, will buy 8gb x 8 for 64gb ram, and it needs a decent modern video card, and possibly two gpu cards down the road depending on how the pilot configures his simulator. Will keep the board posted as it's built out and maybe can do some before and after screenshots on performance and diagnostics benchmarks.
