The Trump opponents could never quite figure out the context thing. Is he serious? Is he being flippant? Sarcastic? Is he stupid? Or nuts?

I think it may be the key difference between his supporters and his opponents. Supporters got it. Knew when he being serious, being literal. Versus when he was BS-ing.

I notice it daily. One of my college friends said to me the other night, "He said 'grab by the p*y. How could you POSSIBLY think that is okay?" I said, "Man, do I need to remind you of kinds of things we'd say about a poor girl walking in the Dairy Queen? What you'd DO to HER???"

But that was then. We were young. "Well, that's true. But we were also laying on the BS because we were a carload of horny, disgusting guys. And we knew no one was recording what we were saying. That no one would ever hear it."

He's right. I wouldn't say that now. Neither would Trump. That was then. The context was different.

The self-righteousness of some of these guys is funny to watch. Particularly when you know them well... We've all been horrible at some point. I guarantee you I've heard worse from women.
