Good article. Another section which I found interesting discussed the
requirements to implement the SET standard for electronic transactions
which I believe is a competitor to the WAVE concept. As the article notes
you need to have a special SET server, SET software, and a browser
with a SET wallet program as well as other items. Given the infrastructure
needed to get your SET enabled business going WAVE seems to be a much
more elegant and cheaper method to conduct business.
