That's half the story. We aren't stuck with a mainstream GOP candidate, either. Trump beat out ALL mainstream politicians, not just the Dems. I think people figured if they were going to treat us like we were little kids who had to be told what was good for us, we'd put a tantrum centric little kid in the WH. We'll see if that logic helps us -g-
Yes, Dems system is corrupt, for them. GOP system as I see is actually anti-democrating, so subversive AND corrupt, meaning it is capable of subverting Dems, too, via gerrymandering, voter intimidation, unaccountable voting, voter disenfranchisement, and how about in North Carolina where a DEM won the governor office and the GOP immediately began dismantling the power of that office. Gotta love that anti-democracy and anti-American behavior. |
