My read on this is that this contract makes TransNet the specified source for Novell software for all entities under the broad umbrella of the "State of New Jersey", which would include entities as diverse as the state colleges and universities, and the state national guard, and prison system. Thus, at this point, there is no specified dollar amount available.
I know from previous experience that such "master contracts" can be quite profitable for the recipients, generating a fairly steady stream of new orders, and in the case of TransNet, also opening the door to a substantial amount of design and implementation assignments. I sense that this is a significant accomplishment for the company, and one which will generate additional profits over the next two years, if not longer. |
