Joel, Just could be quite a few reasons for the wide spread, but I suspect the MM's are trying to bring in stock and they just keep lowering the BID..... Their tactic works occasionally ! Holders of the 'A' warrant ..TRIWF ...become ' nervous nellies ' and think their warrants will drop even more...they panic.! playing into the hands of the #$%^#*&%^^< M&M's who pick up those valuable warrants at 2 bucks....they of course sell them back to us at $ 2.75.....not a bad trade with a 37 % profit. Remember these guys are RUTHLESS and they will settle for 1/16th.......1/8th.....profit...37 % is all gravy. TRIWF and TRIZF are not truly an M&M's delight...the float is not sufficient to trade....only 1.2 million TRIWF and 600,000 TRIZF....hardly worth their trouble.I might be off on those numbers.?? In M&M lingo this technique is called 'shaking the tree'...hoping to pick up some fallen fruit at 2 bucks.!! SEC and NASDAQ has said on many occasions they were watching for flagrant violations of these guidelines. Don't hold your breath.! They have very powerful 'friends' in high places. Can the system be improved. ?? You bet. we can adopt the Canadian system in which no middle man exists....just like an Auction I have 1000 A warrants to sell....my A's appear for sale on a National Computer Network and I'm asking $ 2.50....any bids.?? M&M's do bring some semblance of orderliness in these volatile markets by having stock in their inventory . Boeing Aircraft Co. .....BA....I remember when you couldn't give that stock away at $ 7.50.........before the 747's came down the line. later from KEIKO's home in Newport. Oregon
