whereas climate change resulted in greening of the high latitudes and the Tibetan Plateau
What climate change. If more larger plants grow, they create area where the sun will melt snow more quickly.
Plants have dark barked highly conductive branches. the sun will start hitting them sooner as they project higher into the snow cover. they reduce the albedo of the surface. they create a wind break so air flow and wind chill will be reduced at the ground surface. this is an area warming. but it has nothing do do with the CO2 greenhouse gas effect. the tons of organic matter created using the suns energy is energy that does not radiate away. Is the net effect to lower the thermal highs of day?? then in Fall and Spring the material decays and releases CO2. That oxidation releases the stored solar energy. Does that also make the ground warmer for plant to grow sooner.

So what is meant by climate change?

Yet how global vegetation is responding to the changing environment is not well established. yes there are more and more uncertainties and questions...
