Nice stock movement on COHU... I hope you don't mind but I thought I would comment with a a chart that I have developed that I call my Trigger Chart.... here it is

The thing to be aware of is that you are miles above the upper Bolinger Band (Bollie). Now the Bollies here are based on a 20 daySMA and represent 2 std dev from the average. This roughly encompasses 95% of all the prices that make up the 20 day SMA. which means the current share price is in very rarified atmosphere.

My study of this shows that the price will pull back in 2-5 days back into the bollie envelope. You can see other examples of this in the earlier 3 blue circles.

Does this mean that the stock will nose dive? Hockey Pucks NO!

Bullish or (bearish for that matter) runs start usually from a bollie squeeze shown when the BB width reaches a minimum value... like the dashed green line on Nov 9. A bull run is indicated by a corresponding rise in the Slow Sto and MACD... if the Slow Sto and MACD are falling when the BBWidth expands that is a bear signal.

As you can see from the line when your run started this is very bullish.

HOWEVER, there probably will be a pullback and could be as much as $1 to $1.50 and still be ok, a lot will depend on the following days trades.... Don't forget... there was a 15% gain on Friday... many will want to sell to keep those gains.

The best and most bullish signal is that the share price moves sideways or a slight positive or negative slope, letting the bollies catch up.

IF THERE IS ANOTHER JUMP in Price... this is nice... but there is usually a big crash the next day or two and I would consider taking my profits and wait to buy back in at a lower price.. or not if you have another place to put the money.

Those are my thoughts... let us see if I am right or not. Right now a pullback to $14.50 would not be out of the question as I see it.
