James is good to hear from you... why the BMY drop is a mistery. No one knows but its fun to speculate. Your take is particularly plausible if the legal eagles at BMY are looking at Lidakol with an eye towards oral herpes and not realizing the market is the same and it works just as well for genital herpes.. i.e. they understimated the market...potencial especially in light of Lidak buying back global rights a miscalcualtion on BMY's part is very possible. On the FDA approval I suspect based on bits of past evidence that Lidak has established a good rapore with the FDA..(phaseIII AND NDA inside a year... not too shabby) and your estimate migth be off by 1 or 2Q's i.e. we should have approval by high summer. Otherwise I will need to wait a little longer to realize my tgt of 10-15..dollars per share by then...Of course the ace in the hole is FDA cutting Lidak a small break due to the historical turn of events and the extensive relationship regarding this medicine.. Along the lines of new partnerships Dc Katz suggested forming more than one at more attractive terms.. Start up solutions will weigh in on that...they are the experts.. luis
