( I guess even Breitbart isn't OK with pedophiles. THAT's the ONLY line conservatives just won't cross! )

(NEWSER) – Milo Yiannopoulos' very bad week continues: After CPAC rescinded his invite and Simon & Schuster canceled his book contract over his past comments about sex between men and boys, the alt-right firebrand has now resigned from Breitbart News. The former Breitbart editor calls the decision his and his alone in a statement picked up by Mediaite; he says he doesn't want his "poor choice of words to detract from my colleagues' important reporting."

Per Mediaite, Fox Business Network had previously reported that there was debate at Breitbart over whether to terminate Yiannopoulos, with higher-ups debating whether keeping him on would cause advertisers to flee. Before Yiannopoulos announced his resignation Tuesday, the Breitbart editor-in-chief had called Yiannopoulos' comments "indefensible" and "appalling," the Huffington Post reports. Yiannopoulos has a press conference scheduled Tuesday afternoon.
