I know a really good, with a capital G, person who has Parkinson's which has been very aggressive, which illustrates your point.

But in a less anecdotal context, science has shown a strong correlation between stress and disease, and behavior and disease (and behavior correlates with stress). So I could see the trend being exactly as Rarebird said, but it's certainly not an absolute as far as the physical body is concerned. Of course, there's also the psychological hell...
