Tom, I just read a small article over at www.ogr.com. It said 40%
of the computers sold this Christmas were the below 1k models, the
final numbers aren't even in yet, but are expected to be alot higher
once CompUSA etc report SSS. I wouldn't bet on Consoles forever,take
a P-166, add a monster or canopus card and you have a very cool system.
All the new 3D cards will have TV out,STB and ATI already have them
using the Riva chips. Monitor prices are coming down, i needed a deduction for the business and picked up a 21' Viewsonic for 1200
bucks shipped to my door.
Sorry Myth isn't to your liking, the Demo and full game are very
different. Once you get your 3dfx card running, check it out.
Nothing to do but wait now, ATVI will let us know how many units
of Q2 shipped, people are playing it big time, looking foward to
earnings.
I have plenty of respect for Kotic and ATVI, he's a smart SOB,and
has made me plenty of money and entertained me at the same time.
