It seems to me that ideology is secondary to money and power flux with these guy's. Like Woodward and Bernstein's Deep Throat said, follow the money. Paul Ryan it seems came out of obscurity and wrangled a position at the head of the table like the lead character, Frank Underwood, in the House of Cards series. It felt dirty and awkward as he rose to the top of the stack.
