Yes sir, thank you but it's clearly mom's laptop now and probably for the best in the long run! I'll post her score again if ever updated to ssd from hdd. I prefer thinkpad workstation laptop class this decade. Used to be Thinkpad W class but they renamed it to P50 and P70 Thinkpad workstation. Her consumer oriented Toshiba has a great cpu and 1080 17.3" screen but other clunky aspects imo. Workstation grade ThinkPads are built to a higher standard and also built to be disassembled as parts can be replaced. My current main laptop is W530, 32gb ram, i7-3820qm, I'm currently "transitioning" from dual hdd raid to single ssd. When time is right will post those scores too. I had ssd before but being the resident family geek squad I lent (more like surrendered the) ssd to an emergency situation and as always easier to give than extricate! ;-)

All I know for sure is if I were buying a decent new or used modern laptop it must have thunderbolt 3 and at least one(1) M.2 ssd slot built directly into motherboard. Same applies for new desktop builds as well, fwiw! ;-)
