STEM isn't like other fields. It takes work, intelligence, dedication and a love of it.

While this may be true there are millions with the aptitude that don't go down the path because of the piss poor money down the road. In retrospect I wish I hadn't been accepted to engineering and went into accounting. All my rich friends have business degrees or are lawyers.
