Yes, we should follow Canada. Well said.

The only reason Canada's health care system works the way it does. Is because nearly all hospitals have been Nationalized by the Provinces on a cost only basis, or are ran by Non profit organizations.
British Columbia is the only Province where people pay a fee for their medical plan. Beginning in 2018 those premiums will be cut in half for higher income people and there will be no charge for the rest. So a family who still has to pay a portion of their medical will have a monthly premium of about $50 per month or less. MSP covers all doctor, Treatment, surgeries and hospital costs.

It could not be done with a hospital for profit setting. America needs to entail some big adjustments to really make health care affordable as compared to much of the rest of the world.

Health care is one area where there needs to be a social structure in place which benefits equally across the board. It is done in highways, social security pensions, unemployment benefits, defense and many other programs. It can be done in health care if the will and cooperation is there.

Personally I believe Health care should be a right not a privilege.
