sonny: I did not do much reserch as I normally like to do. In the morning when I checked with yahoo, I could find only KIF. I made a small investment into that. After you questioned me in your earlier post, I checked the Barrons print edition and looked for all the funds relating to Korea. These are as follows.

Korea Elec. Power (KEP)
KoreaEquity (KEF)
KoreaFund (KF)
Korean Inv. Fund (KIF)

I agree with your comments in your post. I believe the KoreaFund (KF)is the country closed-end fund. It has the largest weekly volume among the above funds (42,113,600). I feel we should start nibbling in KF. It may take some time before Korean situation stabilizes. It could go down some more. When it starts moving up we should be on the train. The problem with Korea as I understand is the liquidity problem and not an economic problem. Thanks.
