I've actually been to Omaha and of course had to see his hood. Certainly not a lavish community but nice upper middle class without any gated security into the community right off a heavily traveled road that i think connects within minutes to his Berkshire Hathaway offices and UN at Omaha campus. His compound gated all around is a nice sized very private lot (double lot??) with house set back far from the street and neighbors far away.. Am sure lots of security cameras and personnel on the family compound. Went to Panera Bread I recall was in a small shopping center like .5 miles from his house. Just my opinion but quality of life, very interesting walkable downtown, strong balanced economy and moderate cost of living seems like Omaha is a very underrated jewel.
