the trump budget is interesting

to directly boost department of defence budget by 9% and cut same from elsewhere except the non-discretionary items, as if dod budget is not already bloated and gone malignant w/ waste

and

trump wishes to send two late-in-the-game / out-of-plan passengers for a meaningless fling around the moon courtesy of nasa, i guess, to show the flag, albeit unclear on what budget allocation if any or just shoe-string the effort for bread&circus less any intention to followup

but if he should axe budget of department of energy and of national science foundation, then ...

all very interest

i am guessing that perhaps trump wishes to get the dod budget through, and then present a accomplished-fact that the other departments are out of budget later in the year, and get congress to resort to the printing press for 'one last time'

in any case, watch & brief
