I just heard Geraldo say "We know the Russians hacked the election, that's a given"

Do we know that? What did they do? We know they did not hack the voting or tabulation. I heard they planted fake news stories. I don't know of a single fake news story planted by the Russians, do you? Maybe pizzagate was Russian.

To the best of my knowledge, we in no way *know* that they hacked the election, it's just a semi-educated guess on the part of *some* of the intelligence agencies (and we know how many times they've been wrong and failed over the decades, and we also know how people can "find" evidence for their own bogus ideology, including Godwin's Law). We don't even *know* squat about what they actually did do, or not, and that includes what they may have already admitted to. The basic issue is that there's *no way* that one can be *certain* that an IP address is not spoofed/faked, the existing technology just plain isn't good enough, the internet is still "wild" and "dark nets" exist in abundance. Plus, there are hacker groups that do have the capability to pull it off, including China and other countries.

The "Establishment" just can't believe the election results, primarily because it goes against what they think they know about how to definitively influence and control a populace, and they're using *all* their tools and PR knowledge & invented programs to try and blacken Trump to avoid being exposed and losing even more of their power & control.

That doesn't mean that Trump hasn't made mistakes or hasn't invented facts or that he isn't relatively amateur as a politician... or that he isn't learning for that matter either. IMO, it's just a rhyme with the 1960s but with a lot more at stake and with *much* more spin, lies and control attempts.

I don't *know* of a single fake news story planted by the Russians either, for the above reasons about IP addresses, but again it doesn't mean that they don't exist. They probably do, but they're also probably minimal...

I have read posts from the guy that was running computer security for $Hillary and her email server, and am hugely underwhelmed by his knowledge and competence, much like I am about the DNC's computer security idiots. Neither have a clue of the real basics, one of the main ones being "defense in depth". :(

In today's world, if you're only running 1 or 2 anti-malware or protection tools, you're a huge fool.
