Spicer tweets Trump request for Congress to INVESTIGATE OBAMA!!
MAR. 5, 2017 8:57 AM BY SOOPERMEXICAN
Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer just tweeted yuge news:
Sean Spicer ?@PressSec
(1/4) Reports concerning potentially politically motivated investigations immediately ahead of the 2016 election are very troubling.
Sean Spicer ?@PressSec
(2/4) President Trump is requesting that as part of their investigation into Russian activity, the congressional intelligence committees
ean Spicer ?@PressSec
(3/4) exercise their oversight authority to determine whether executive branch investigative powers were abused in 2016.
Sean Spicer ?@PressSec
(4/4) Neither the White House nor the President will comment further until such oversight is conducted.
[ We'll see. That's the key point. This is Bannon trying to keep Trump off twitter about Russia. So they send an order to Sean Spicer to tweet this. There is going to have to be a Trumphandler wherever he goes. ]
Wow. You can bet the press won’t let them get away with not commenting… or not actually. Who knows. So I guess he’s taking this wiretapping stuff seriously? And will Congress jump through his hoops? Exciting times….
UPDATE:
Jake Tapper points out what this means:

Jake Tapper
?@jaketapper
. @PressSec suggests WH will not provide evidence to back up president's claim or even comment further
So he won’t say why he believes he was wiretapped, and passes the buck onto Congress.

No President can "order" a wiretap on anyone. If evidence was presented to the FISA court and they approved a wiretap based on that evidence, then it was legitimate. Period. Trump's outrage is nothing more than political misdirection.

After Trump's great speech to Congress last week, I've been feeling a bit regret if not guilty for being against Trump and voting 3rd party. The very next day and since then, the drama about Russia and now wiretapping stuff reminded me that I was correct that Trump wasn't worthy of the presidency.

The president should ask for the release of the two FISA warrant requests directed at his campaign and/or surrogates and the appropriate congressional intelligence committees should ask to see the presidential daily intelligence briefings Obama received from at least June 1, 2016 - January 20, 2017.
[ YES!!! Levin is clever. He's acting all supportive, let's investigate Obama, but he's asking for all this stuff to be released. ]
