Well, we are definitely headed to Henderson, NV. Lots of New Yorkers have left for Las Vegas and the suburbs and like it a lot. The State has become purple. Rents are dirt cheap there. We have checked out online through Trulia and Zillow 2 bedroom apartments and they offer a lot for anywhere from $1100 to $1550 per month for luxury. Who knows if we will like the people there, but I have been told by a number of people that Nevada is getting filled more and more each day with people from blue states who have just recently retired. A Tax free state with no taxes to Social security income is music to my ears. I am not really that much of a political person in the sense that I need to talk about politics as my primary mode of conversation during the day, but there is no way I could become friends with a Donald Trump supporter or a conservative Republican.
