Normally when posting on SI I check for spelling, grammar, and occasionally diction. I'll look once when a message is finished and move onto reading elsewhere, or do other chores. It was interesting to catch your sophistry in action. You replace and move around your lines with bated breath like a midnight copy editor at the sleaziest British tabloid, of which you claim to be a fan and all within a 15 minute deadline. Bravo!

Are things that slow at the ceramics studio, I assumed you ran that as a nonprofit anyway? Sophistry at the TJ salon appears to be your favorite hobby and especially since the election. Hey, whatever floats your boat but is it that difficult to properly cite sources and or your own interjections?

For the edification of the thread, below are the three or four edits you made to your own post within the 15 minute deadline. I believe somewhere in the third or fourth edit you added the Franken clip from this morning. For all I know there were more edits, ha. Mirabile dictu! You could have just stopped at the first message and changed it to congress. But you had a script to keep, and copy to edit. Post haste Elroy, post haste!

Is it just me or does Franken seem slurred in his speech? Maybe all those years of cocaine and alcohol abuse is taking its toll, I notice the same in more recent W Bush appearances.

There's always been one set of laws and justice for all Americans, which don't apply to senior Republican leaders.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

There's always been one set of laws and justice for all Americans.

But only some of these laws apply to senior Republican leaders, and only when the leadership wants them to apply them. Justice is more of an art form than anything set in stone in Republican-ville.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Will the Republican leadership apply American laws and justice to Jeff Sessions? Only if he no longer serves a purpose for the Republican leadership.
