I'm watching Big Little Lies as well. Also started watching the new HBO comedy Crashing. The Detour second season is underway, and I'm enjoying CNN's The History of Comedy series.

Book-wise the autobiography "Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen" is really enjoyable. I like his writing style and philosophical look on life's many journeys and influences.

“However, as I grew older, there were certain things about the way I thought, reacted, behaved. I came to ruefully and bemusedly understand that once you're a Catholic, you're always a Catholic. So I stopped kidding myself. I don't often participate in my religion but I know somewhere... deep inside... I'm still on the team.”

“All I do know is as we age the weight of our unsorted baggage becomes heavier . . . much heavier. With each passing year, the price of our refusal to do that sorting rises higher and higher.”
Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run

“No one you have been with and no place you have gone ever leaves you. The new parts of you simply jump in the car and go along for the rest of the ride. The success of your journey and your destination all depend on who's driving.”
Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run
