There's NO reason to think what you described happened. It's just something Trump or someone he listened to made up. A wiretap on a server communicating with Russia isn't the same as a tap on Trump himself. Unless Trump is communicating with Russia. Getting a warrant approved by removing Trump's name from it, then going ahead and wiretapping Trump anyway is not very honest. Even if you despise Trump, letting the obama administration get away with that is not right and a breach of power. If Obama, when he was President, was so eager to spy on Donald Trump and was willing to break the law to do it, why didn't Obama have his tax return leaked?
