Ike, the problems which one could broadly describe as population growth, environment and consumerism deserve serious attention and discussion. I very much appreciate your seeing the collision these three have begun, and can only get worse with time. IF we are fortunate to avoid global conflict, if we are fortunate to work out trade and the sharing of wealth, it will be the moderation of our appetites to a shrinking world that determines the success of our future.
