But Trump's plan has a new penalty for Americans foolish enough to drop their healthcare insurance. They will pay a 30% surcharge on their future premiums if they later want medical insurance coverage under Platinum TrumpCare or other health insurance plan.

This surcharge will increase over time to protect insurance companies and their insured against freeloaders - a problem addressed by ObamaCare with a $185 annual fine for failing to maintain health coverage.

This surcharge could make these Americans less employable due to the higher premium costs which will follow them through life.
