Taco, interesting report on CNBC this morning regarding the Asian currency situation as it relates to the auto industry. Basically stating North American auto manufacturers will have a problem competing with cheaper imports. Overseas manufacturers will then increase production to meet this new demand. The increased production must have a positive effect on the metals. I believe I posted something to this effect to The Chief a week or two ago.

The geological model is showing a 45 degree plunge to the southwest from hole 16 beyond. To the east, I predicted the deposit should come to surface at some point(common sence). I suspect the porphyry (later event) has something to do with altering the plunge and shape of the deposit, perhaps flattening to the east and pluging at 45 to the west. A shallow flat lying deposit to answer your question have many advantages such as easier drilling using verticle holes, potential for larger reserves since glaciation hasn't erroded significant portions of the deposit etc. however, a disadvantage is more costly mining methods must be utilized if open pitting is not a possibility.

In Cross's case I see a flat lying gentle plunge deposit to be more positive than negative since a significant amount of resourse deliniation can be completed inexpensively by surface drilling in a short period of time. Opposed to costly ramping and/or sinking a shaft with underground drilling as the case at Kidd Creek. Another positive is the chance for more zinc or copper reserves to the east where most predicted a cut off.

With respect to Band-Ore's comments, ya they are stating the obvious, now its a question do you believe them??? Time will tell.

The key is Golden Knight, what do they have to say!!!
