I have only had one problem with it since I purchased it about five years ago. A windows update cause Windows to fail to start up. So I attempted to use the Windows recovery disc. That did not work and unfortunately revealed a flaw in the hardware design. The CD would not eject from the CD/DVD drive. In order to eject the CD, Windows had to be loaded (sensory activated lights appear at the bottom right side of the screen to eject the CD or adjust the volume or monitor). To make matters worse, the CD does not have the usual small eject pin hole that most CD/DVD drives have. The computer was still under warranty and with Dell's excellent service, they sent a technician out with a new CD/DVD drive and a new copy of Windows. The built in TV receiver did not work after the new installation, but I did not care since I only used it once (just to see if it worked).

I have not seen any degradation in the performance of the monitor (no white bleeding at the screen edges). Anytime someone comes over and sees the computer turned on, they always comment on how nice the monitor looks (even after seeing it several times). It is still far and away the best computer that I have ever used.

Maybe the only thing that I might want is a blue-ray DVD player, but we usually watch DVDs on the larger TV anyway.
