I'm starting to agree with Rand Paul. Just repeal the sonofabitch lock stock and barrel effective 1/1/2018, give the market time to adjust and develop alternatives, and let the Congress over the next 9 months introduce whatever competing legislation they want and lets have a serious debate. Obamacare lite is never going to pass. Paul is right. There is NO agreement whatsoever on a replacement. If the Republicans pass some kind of replacement all by themselves, they will be saddled with its deficiencies forever, and it will destroy them in 2018. In the meantime, if they pass nothing to replace, the market will be back to where it was prior to 2009. That is not the worst alternative in the world.
