Thanks for running those tests. My daughter is using a 2009 Vizio VO320E 32" 720P at 1280x1040, which I don't quite understand. I actually bought it from a friend who won it in a contest and didn't want the set. It had essentially received light duty as a monitor for one of my computers, before her 2008 Toshiba 37AV500U 37" 720p went out which ran the same 1280x1040 resolution. That was somewhat unfortunate because the 37" Toshiba fit perfectly in a massive bookcase in my den and my main monitor is a 2009 40" Toshiba 40RV525R 1080p that is only a year newer so it may not be long for this world.

After looking closer at my 40" Toshiba, I find that it will run at 1360x768, but the 1280x1040 resolution is more useful for me with the extra pixels in the Y dimension.

Probably, when I get around to buying my next screen, I'll take a computer with me and look for a cooperative salesman. <ggg>

Josh
