Ok... this has not been an extensive investigation but I have some observations

First of all let us look at the way the data was originally charted

OMG!!!! looks like a clear signal of a coming collapse... right?

Now let us look at the same arrangement with 1 year of data instead of 3 months

Hmmmmm.... doesn't look quite as bad.... does it! See how the author cherry picked his data.... using only the last 3 months (shown in the big box)

He did not want to show the additional data from 2 months earlier... Why??? Because he did not want to ruin whatever story he wrote.

That smaller box shows a longer more pronounced drop... but the SPX 500 did the same in the small box and recovered fine to go on to greater highs.

Charting can be like Statistics..... if you pick the right data set you can massage it into whatever view you want your audience to see.

Personally while there may be a correction to the SPY (everyone expects that) I don't see an apocalypse in the making.

I am not going to do a reading on SPY.... it is in consolidation as shown in the $SPX... when the bollies tighten we will see the direction the security will take
