Yes, done so twice.

When we were faced with the FIOS coming into our communities in No. Va. No longer did I have an
ordinary antenna. When the company came into my front yard without permission and began to dig
to install an underground Cable of internet reception and theoretically for television.

A long story; eventually as I would have a television show on connection
via FIOS failed. I just called and pulled the plug on the TV system. Stayed with the computer
system but always having problem with it.

The second story comes in Arkansas-------when I went to help my brother temporarily, I soon found
that the "caregiver" was watching television nonstop. Day and night and if she wasn't watching it
was on and disturbing everyone

The first bill I saw was for over $200. As my brother had previously put me on his account. I
I cut the junk shows of the provider and gave orders to the caregiver that there would be no more
constant television on.

What a difference------suddenly my brother began a recovery. As I got him out of the house
and saying hello to people friends who knew him----went out to eat, to the library, to listen to music
took him and yes to the Library . He was well read and loved talking to people about the books.

I have never gone back to TV . So for me how to break the computer cycle-----almost impossible
as in our urban society in No. Va. as we are dependent upon communication for almost
everything we do.

Television I have eliminated but not the computer system. Have stayed with Cell Phone and with
Computer.
