I cannot fathom what 'RyanDon'tCare' was thinking when he removes all the taxes on the highest earners in the US and simultaneously drastically cuts assistance to the lowest income ACA buyers. Since 'stupid' probably isn't the right word, 'don't care' might be.. Since we've only seen one of the three pieces of this program, it could be that there is something in the other two that makes it less stupid, or careless, or maybe even a good idea. If, for example, premium prices go down, then the subsidies/credits can be lower. We just don't know so we can't assume that everything that isn't in piece one will remain status quo. Too early to get so exercised over it.
