Was Assange blackmailed by ex-KGB officer Putin years ago? I'm wondering what Putin will do if Trump can't get sanctions lifted, which was clearly Russia's goal in this election. The obvious Putinist stooges like Manafort, Page, Flynn are gone now and Trump has had to take on defense and national security people (Mattis, McMaster) who aren't Russian stooges. Sanctions won't be lifted. So what does Putin do next?
