to stay on topic and be apolitical, i connect the current state of trump w/ macro still to be played out
i note trump and his cohort, together with the loyal or otherwise opposition, are together in creating an increasingly predictable will-be, and this is good, for macro unpredictability is bad
i am very encouraged by trump and the aggregation of his disparate cohorts, for he is evenhanded even as he has what i am told by children’s fable to be disproportionately small hands
gradually but surely he is thankfully disappointing both his opponents as well as his supporters, being swamped by the swamp that cannot be drained
even as he is making happy the allegedly warmongering democrats by granting them their supposedly wished for expansion of combat operations in syria, and not disappointing the ostensibly warmongering republicans by teeing up for possibly more troubles around russia.
curiously trump has been relatively timid, almost shy, w/r to the n.korea issue. perhaps he knows he is out-trumped by the crazier kim. perhaps he may yet surprise us on this issue. wait & see.
on the economic side trump so far is merely breaking things, and making a pigs breakfast by the effort, which makes the future increasingly unsurprising. unsurprising is good, and has a quality all its own.
in any case trump is fulfilling his destiny as tweeting entertainer for all who expected no more.
i could not understand why anyone would have expected more out of cohort obviously in over heads at the get-go, now swamped and fully absorbed as would a roll of absorbing charmin tissue.
