Yeah, I think that is the play that got Randy Hundley all upset.

I remember watching that game on a black and white set up in my bedroom and feeling the kind of atmosphere that's usually reserved for the best of the postseason.

The Mets had a young second baseman, Ken Boswell, in '69, who I remember thinking could be another Glenn Beckert. He had a pretty good season as the lefty half of a platoon with Al Weis, but somehow fell off the map after that.

Of course, the next day was the famous "Black Cat Game" when a black cat ran by Santo in the on deck circle in the first inning. The game was a runaway with a bit of drizzle in the air, and several drunken New Yorkers were serenading Cub and old Dodger/Giant manager, Leo Durocher, with "Goodbye Leo" to the old tune of "Goodbye Ladies, we hate to see you go". This covers the baseball of the night.
