All amphetamines class drugs are appetite suppressants. Adolph Hitler had "metabolic disorder" too and his Doctor prescribed another related drug called Pervitin. Also different types of opiates.

Wealthier drug addicts often make a big distinction that their drug is legal and prescribed by a Doctor. If you like uppers, you can be uptown taking cocaine-hydro-chloride, methylphenidate or tenuate-dospan, or Adderal but a naughty downtown drug user taking the same amount of, cocaine, methylenedioxy-methamphetamine, or methampehtamine. Or if they like opiates they say my hydrocodone, hydromorphone codeine or fentanyl is prescribed by my Doctor, so I'm not a nasty drug addict - I'm uptown.

But they're the doing the same things for the same reasons in different venues.

If you've money like Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Alessandra Ambrosio or Ashley Graham, simply hire a hairdresser who brings their supplies with them, like 400 adderall, oxycodone, hydrocodone and Xanax. I think they charge something like $8,000 for a blow-out, but you got to look your best. - tmz.com

David Geffen was arrested trying to take David Crosby's pot to him. Geffen didn't use drugs, but he was David Crosby's agent and felt he needed to keep his client happy. - kansascity.com

Through history even the Doctors the up-town addicts go to seem to have that same wild look about them - it's spooky! Most likely because they're not only Doctors, but also customers.
