Pete, I'm working now to find out when that deal will ship. I'm surprised that williams put an order in so soon after begining beta. That leads me to think that they won't ship until late in the 1st Q or in the 2nd. I spoke to an analyst who went out to the company 2 weeks ago, he gave me a good feeling for how things are going. He told me that Ascend is very busy and the cascade side is the strong point. He belives that Ascend put some "wiggle" room in the numbers. He also warned me that there is no deal brewing between Lu and Ascend. Ascend is thinking about takeovers for themselves. They are looking to get deeper in the telco core( which the analyst recommended to the company) or possibly buying someone in the enterprise space( which they recommended against).
