You're generally right about the Nazi's and their prejudices. But TJ is right that, much like Trump, Hitler didn't break all of his promises within the first 30 days, just some of them - and more as time went on. The Nazi's didn't have slave soldiers, but they had two Jewish Admirals Erhard Milch and Bernhard Rogge, and more than 100,000 Jewish soldiers fighting for the Reich. The Allies hung Admiral Milch for War Crimes at the end of the war but Rogge continued to serve as a Rear Admiral in the West German Bundesmarine. The Nazi's a far tougher time recruiting French soldiers for their French 33rd Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS Charlemagne. Not every German was a liberal who either opposed Hitler or fled to another nation. I don't know that making extravagant false promises and betraying people has a genetic component, but the Trump family is from Bavaria so it's possible.
