Thought the largest ever of such activity might have something to do with the debt ceiling debate.

I personally can't understand how bond traders and holders of Bonds are going to hold them - only to incur losses from here and in the future... when they start looking for a better returns?

Unwinding these products at 1-2% - who's going to buy them - treasury???

Pensions and insurance companies need 5-6% return to adequately finance operations and obligations.
